Thank you all for the messages. I am truly touched by the warm wishes and encouragement I have received from everyone .
I am both honoured and humbled by the appointment. Whilst I have received many congratulations on taking “higher office”, I am deeply conscious of the need to stay grounded, and close to the people.
Do help me to do that, so that I can carry out the portfolios entrusted to me properly, and serve as I should.
