I received an interesting comment from a reader today and I thought it should be fair to share what he said. He said:
“…how do you explain the undeniable fact that manyworkers in Singapore today are either unemployed….
…or underpaid…
…to the extent of not being able to make ends meet…
….while employers are obviously exploiting the situation by displacing local workers with foreign workers….
…who are willing to accept a much lower pay because where they come from they can only dream of getting such pay.
Well, I’ll leave you to decide on the relevance of his comments…
